iTunes 4.7.1 (released the day of the Keynote) contained a feature called Autofill. This allows you to create a manual or an Autofilled/shuffled playlist to play in sequence or in ’shuffle’ mode.

iPod shuffle comes with a cover for the USB port, the port is used to copy the music/files…

… and also to charge the shuffle. (USB Port pictured for scale)

iPod shuffle also comes with a lanyard, this holds the shuffle at the base so to leave it in the correct orientation when held.

“There are still some developers who were involved in games from the bedroom coding days.”
“Some of them are still making games for peer group approval - that has to stop.”
As opposed to what? Making them for ROIs? Bullshit, gaming should be about quality, not the money making batch-shit producing child of hollywood EA has become and it appears previously quality firms like Codies now feel they have to be a part of.

BBC NEWS | Americas | US right attacks SpongeBob video
US conservative groups are up in arms over a music video featuring children’s TV heroes such as the cheerful cartoon character SpongeBob SquarePants.
Focus on the Family and other groups say the video - a remake of the Sister Sledge hit, We Are Family - is a vehicle for pro-gay propaganda. (mc:Ha)
The video’s makers plan to mail it to US schools in the spring to promote tolerance and diversity.
They say the attack is based on a misunderstanding.
The video also features children’s favourites like Bob the Builder (mc:Didn’t realise they had this in the states, sweet. good on Neil Morrissey), along with characters from Sesame Street and The Muppet Show.
We see the video as an insidious means by which the organisation is manipulating and potentially brainwashing kids (mc:Hahaha)
But James Dobson, founder of right-wing Christian group Focus on the Family, singled out SpongeBob at a black-tie dinner in Washington (mc:”Look! there he is! in the tie! the pro-gay!) in the run-up to President Bush’s inauguration, the New York Times said.
SpongeBob - who appears on the children’s cable channel Nickelodeon - is seen as an icon for adult gay men in the US, apparently because he regularly holds hands with his sidekick Patrick.(mc:the things you learn, scary…)
His creators deny that he is gay, but he is not the first such character to cause controversy.
In 1999 conservatives claimed handbag-carrying Teletubby Tinky Winky, an import from the UK, was a bad role-model. (mc:Genius, of all the things the Americans could hate about the colourful drugged up aliens, they pick homosexuality - I never realised they were this phobic)
‘Easy lesson’
Nile Rodgers, who wrote the song and is founder of the We Are Family Foundation (WAFF) which released the new video, says it is intended to help teach children the values of co-operation and unity.
“We believe that this is the essential first step to loving thy neighbour,” he said. “And the fun and exciting format makes it a lesson that’s easy for children to learn.”
But conservatives say it sees the video as a cunning attempt to promote homosexuality. (mc:”The evil pro-gays always find ways to thwart our plans!“)
They point to the fact that the WAFF is linked to a pledge being promoted by some liberal groups which includes a recognition of tolerance of sexual identity.
“We see the video as an insidious means by which the organisation is manipulating and potentially brainwashing kids,” Paul Batura, a spokesman for Focus on the Family, told the New York Times.(mc:what a muppet)
Mr Rodgers said the groups may have confused his foundation with an unrelated organisation with a similar name that supports gay youth.
WAFF spokesman Mark Barondeso told the newspaper that anyone who thought the video promoted homosexuality “needs to visit their doctor and get their medication increased”.
Just noticed tonight that furl have added (not sure when) multi-topic capability to their furlage-engine.

There is now a ‘Multi’ button you can click to reveal a select-list,

this allows you to Command/Control select multiple entries.

Pretty sweet, been after that for a while.
Simple for now, complex instructions when I get time.

I’m amazed they’ve lasted this long.
It’s doing what browsers do already (esp Safari) but I’m guessing the average user isn’t that savvy with that function. If google can win the user on their implementation, they might just have found another unique niche that Google can keep their users coming back for.
Last nights’ late finish hasn’t made me feel as bad as I thought I might have, but I had been hoping adrenaline might kick in and get me through today as it’s a late one at work. We’ll see.
